Volunteering - Making a Difference
Each year, volunteers donate many hours of service to St. Joseph's Medical Center. Their individual reasons for volunteering are as varied as the people themselves. Some volunteer to stay active or make a contribution to the community; others are interested in exploring career options; and many enjoy the opportunity to socialize and meet new people while helping others. The ages and experience levels range from high school or college age students considering a career in healthcare to retirees interested in putting their time and skills to good use. St. Joseph's Medical Center volunteers are people who make a difference in the lives of others by providing essential services and lending support to our hospital and community. Volunteers set an example for all of us...they work for the satisfaction of helping others.
